Best Honeymoons in September

September is one of the best times of year to visit Kenya. It is the middle of the dry seasons and the wildebeest migration taking place is often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. Take an awe inspiring safari through the Masai Mara, visit traditional Masai tribes and end your time on one of the stunning beaches off the warm seas of the Indian Ocean.
For a beach honeymoon then visit Mauritius which enjoys its cooler winter months from May to November making it a pleasant 18-24°C. The island is in the Indian Ocean and is large enough to encompass fantastic beaches, outdoor activities and historic sights. It is also intimate enough to travel to any area in no more than an hour.
For a picture postcard destination with deserted beaches and crystal clear sea then Tahiti, is perfect. With white sand beaches, clear blue seas and wooden bungalows built above the water, you know you're in paradise. Lay back and relax on the pristine beaches, explore the vibrant markets and enjoy evening entertainment of traditional dancing & music of this striking French Polynesian Island.
Heading over to the Far East, Thailand, is a way to enjoy a cheaper honeymoon in September. It is still partly the rainy season where you will experience short bursts of rain showers in the afternoon, but it is warm and often welcome after a hot day. Start your trip in the bustling and intriguing capital, Bangkok, and try your hand at haggling in one of the many street markets. From Bangkok, you can head north to the hill tribes to experience local culture and immense lush green scenery. The coastal resorts and islands in the south have amazing beaches, scuba diving facilities and beach side restaurants serving sumptuous Thai cuisine.
Bali is great for those looking for a combination of relaxation and culture. The beaches surrounding the island are beautiful and are a great base to head on a tour of the whole island or to spend a few nights up in the hills of cultural Ubud. Experience a temple anniversary celebration, enjoy local Indonesian cuisine and take advantage of a massage right on the beach.
