In February the weather is still good in the Far East. For couples who would like a lively honeymoon then Koh Samui, in Thailand would be great. As well as a thriving nightlife it offers stunning beach bungalows where you can relax and watch the sun go down. You can enjoy moon light shimmering on the sea with your partner or at a lively full moon beach party.
For a more tranquil honeymoon in Thailand, away from the lively bright lights we recommend Cha-am which boasts Thailand's longest white sandy beach. Many water sports are available along with the opportunity to explore the local temples and the palace of 'Love and Hope'.
For something a little farther afield and with English speaking locals Hawaii, has been a great honeymoon destination for years. Its six unique islands, are great in February enabling you to choose from tranquil boutique hotels to bustling resorts. all based around stunning beaches. Try your hand at the Hula, visit the tallest sea mountain in world and view impressive wildflower meadows and cascading waterfalls.
If you're looking for somewhere a little more cost effective but still with nice weather in February then Mexico is a great option. You can find sun, sand and relaxation together with local culture such as Mayan ruins and temples. The best resorts are found along the southern tip of Mexico (a couple of hours south of cancun) and are a great base for relaxing on the beach, getting active with water sports and exploring the local area.
For a honeymoon with a difference, safaris are becoming increasingly popular in February. In Kenya you can start your honeymoon with a safari through the dramatic Masai Mara and spot wildlife including 'the big five' and beautiful bird life. You can then finish your honeymoon on the coast at the resorts of Malindi or Mombassa, with breath-taking white sand beaches and a turquoise sea.
The Caribbean still has gorgeous weather in February with favourite spots including the Bahamas, Jamaica and Barbados. You can also head east to the Indian Ocean to the Maldives or Mauritius for more island delights. With white sand beaches and clear blue waters you will be in paradise for the whole of your honeymoon.
