Probably one of the most popular Disney songs, Aladdin and Jasmine showed us all how to really start a love story. We had to put a Frozen track in the mix because let’s face it, it’s everyone’s guilty pleasure. This upbeat tune is all about the potential of love and Princess Anna’s Prince may have turned out to be a frog, but that doesn’t mean yours will be. We would LOVE to see this being used!

Perfect for: Father-daughter dance.

Father daughter dances are really common now and this song has the perfect amount of emotion. 25. Never Knew I Needed – The Princess and the Frog

Perfect for: First dance.

This song is a more modern Disney song sung by superstar Ne-Yo. The lyrics express someone showing appreciation for a person who they can’t live without and how they never knew they needed them until they had them.

26. Married Life – Up

Perfect for: Background or entrance music for the ceremony.

Not all wedding music needs words and this instrumental from the amazing film Up is the perfect example of how beautiful a piece of music can be all by itself. The upbeat and chirpy vibe it has gives positive impressions about the idea of marriage and we love that.

27. Hello Hello – Gnomeo and Juliet

Perfect for: The reception.

The duet by Lady GaGa and Elton John is a true work of genius and sounds so fantastic. It is about meeting new people and not knowing who is waiting for you around the corner. This can be related to your relationship, friendship or family and what better time to celebrate all of your amazing relationships than on your wedding day.

We love this bit: “Sniffing on a flower, running through an autumn shower, bumping into someone else like me. Hello, hello.”

28. So Long – Winnie The Pooh

Perfect for: Wedding reception, bridesmaids or groomsmen dance.

This song is super cute. Sung by Zooey Deschanel, it talks about strong and annoying friendships that you couldn't live without and that is something that we have a lot of time for. Weddings are a day which brings everyone together and the funny lyrics in this track will only add to the high spirits.

This bit is our favourite: “You test my nerves and make me stronger, so can you bother me a little bit longer?”

29. Can’t Help Falling in Love With You – Lilo and Stitch

31. He’s A Tramp – Lady and The Tramp

Perfect for: Setting your friends up.

This song is so funny and sassy, we really like it. Some may class this as an inappropriate wedding song but we think it’d be an amazing track to play at the reception for comical reasons. Playing matchmaker at weddings is super fun and if you have your eye on two people who just must be set up, have them dance to this.

31. If I Never Knew You – Pocahontas

Perfect for: In the background while eating the wedding breakfast.

This song is from the original 1995 Pocahontas movie so it has a really lovely Disney nostalgia feel to it. Passionate and romantic, it's a lesser well known Disney tune if you are looking for a sweet song without the cheese.

32. A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes – Cinderella

Perfect for: Playing as your guests wait at the ceremony.

Whether you opt for the timeless classic 1950 version or the contemporary cover sung by Lily James this song is inspired by wishes and having faith that your dreams will come true. Seeing as though your wedding day will be a dreamy day, we can't think of a more fitting tune.

33. How Far I'll Go – Moana

34. Baby Mine – Dumbo

Perfect for: Playing quietly in the background during the speeches.

You might not want complete silence during your wedding speeches and if that's the case, 'Baby Mine' from Dumbo is a beautiful song choice. It's softly sung with few lyrics so you'll still be able to hear the speeches if it's played gently in the background.

35. Define Dancing – Walle-E

Perfect for: During a drinks reception.

Wall-E celebrates the relationship between two unlikely friends and 'Define Dancing' is a gorgeous song that will really warm the heart of your guests. We reckon it'll work wonderfully when played by a harpist to capture the mood.

39. Touch The Sky – Brave

Perfect for: When guests are taking their seat at the ceremony.

40. Unforgettable – Finding Dory

Perfect for: The reception.

Sia smashed it again with her cover of 'Unforgettable' for Finding Dory (originally sung by Nat King Cole). If you fancy yourself as a bit of a singer why not hop on the mic and sing this to your partner during your wedding reception. With lyrics like "that's why, darling, it's incredible, that someone so unforgettable thinks that I am unforgettable, too" we bet tears will be shed!

41. Rainbow Connection – Kermit

Perfect for: End of the night song.

Not the most conventional wedding song as it is sung by Kermit and Miss Piggy themselves, but we love it all the same! You and your partner have found your rainbow connection so enjoy this magical moment with this warm and fuzzy anthem (all be it at the end of the night after a few drinks.)
