Besides joining in with the ever popular hitched.co.uk discussion forum, here’s what else you’ll have the opportunity to access to as a member of our amazing and vibrant wedding community:

My to-do List:

Not quite sure where to start? This to-do list of 45 tasks will help you on your way. It covers everything from securing accommodation for your guests to taking out that all important wedding insurance.

As each task is completed you tick the box, helping you keep track of what still needs taking care of. You can attach a date to each task too, so it’s incredibly easy to keep your planning schedule right on time and running smoothly. You can also edit the list, making changes to tasks whenever you need to and adding new tasks as they arise.

The budget planner:

Nothing causes quite as much stress as money when you’re in the thick of the big day build-up. But with the hitched budget planner it's easy to keep track of wedding costs and decide who will pay for what.

Divided in to six key sections (the build-up, the wedding, the reception, the honeymoon, the rings and looking good) you can input the predicted cost and the actual cost of each item, as well as making a note of who will foot the bill. If you suddenly discover an extra cost then adding it to your list is not a problem. Just one click allows you to look at your list by price, description or the person who is paying – and if you need to communicate your budget with your partner or parents then the click of a button will have the entire list emailed to your inbox with in seconds.

Your personalised wedding website:

Guests love receiving beautiful stationery, but why not create your own wedding website as well? The perfect place to include all the information about your day, you can tell the story of how you met, show off your engagement photos, include links to travel, venue and accommodation websites, give out gift list information and provide every last detail your guests will require on the day.

hitched makes it really easy to set up a professional-looking site with a selection of fantastic design templates. Choose your website address and you’re on your way, adding pictures, blog posts and uploading videos as you go!

The scrapbook and moodboard:

From an amazing supplier to the beautiful headdress you discovered, it can be tricky keeping track of every little wedding detail. The hitched scrapbook is designed to help you stay super-organised, keeping all your supplier information, links and photos in one place. As you browse the hitched site and find something you love, simply click ‘save to scrapbook’ and it’s done. You can also create as many inspirational moodboards as you desire. Move, re-size and colour co-ordinate your favourite images on to a blank canvas and watch your unique wedding vision come to life.

The Guest manager:

Keeping that all-important guest list under control is crucial to the success of your wedding. Luckily, this clever tool is an easy way to do it. You’ll have all the names, addresses, phone numbers and emails of your guests to hand, and you can update the list as the wedding gets closer with food preferences and RSVP status.

You can also divide the guests between bride and groom, so if someone declines, you can make sure the balance of bride and groom’s friends and family is just right.

Wedding dress designer:

This is the perfect place to get fashionable - and find the dress of your dreams. First, input all your vital information, including skin tone, hair and eye colour and hair length. Then you can have some real fun playing around with necklines, gown types, sleeve styles and colour, until you pinpoint the look you love.

Finally, click on ‘find real dresses’ and you’ll see a selection of beautiful designer gowns, all available for you to buy. We’re willing to bet you’ll find "the one" in no time!
