James and Juris knew they had to get married at The Dorchester - it summed up everything they wanted their wedding to be, with incredible food, stunning interiors and glamorous celebrity guests.
It was also fitting that the Penthouse and Pavilion, an intimate wedding venue, was designed by stage designer Oliver Messel in the theme of the Sleeping Beauty ballet, something Juris, a former ballet dancer, has performed in.
The couple decided not to stick to tradition and spent the night before their wedding together, enjoying cocktails, before waking up and embarking on a pre-wedding shoot to document the morning of their special day – allowing them to showcase even more incredible outfits! They had pictures taken by Elton John’s and Liberace’s pianos at The Dorchester, and in the picturesque Hyde Park just across the road.
Juris, who is also a wedding and event planner, had a lot of input into planning the wedding at the exclusive venue.
