Martin James. From the moment we met him, we knew we had made the right choice. One of the things that stood out most about Martin was his professionalism and calming presence. The final result was beyond our expectations. We are forever grateful to Martin for giving us the gift of beautiful, lasting memories of our wedding day.

We used Martin James as our wedding photographers and videographers in May 2023 - Martin and his team were very friendly and professional on the day. Martin was also very friendly for our engagement shoot and in our video call prior to the wedding.

Unfortunately a few things happened after our wedding which let the service down:
- Some of our main family photos that we had asked for prior to our wedding day, not everyone was looking at the camera in the photo/ blinking. We had asked if two photos could be merged together (along with a couple of other small touch ups) and were told by Martin's admin Kenneth it would cost £300 extra to do this. Instead we got a free photoshop trial and fixed this ourselves in less than an hour. It would have been nice for the professionals to have helped with this with a more reflective price of how much time it would've taken them to fix.
- All communication with Kenneth (99% of our communication was through him) was painfully slow, he did not answer all our questions and we had to keep repeating ourselves in follow-up emails.
- We had to keep chasing when we were going to get our wedding album and were assured this would be ready for delivery in 'early 2024' - from December onwards our emails got ignored.
-After being ignored for weeks in a row, in February we CC'd multiple people in (we were never able to get hold of anyone on their contact number on the emails), Kenneth advised us that they've relocated to Dubai, their previous wedding album supplier is no longer available so they were refunding our wedding album order.
- We waited over 9 months for a wedding album, if we hadn't repeatedly chased this we doubt we would have heard back.

For such a special and important day to us it was really disappointing that they were unable to fulfil their commitments - had they been more responsive to emails we feel we would have got our wedding album in time.

Martin is an amazing photographer, he got to know us before our wedding so we felt really comfortable with him on the day. On the morning of our wedding he took some stunning pictures without us really knowing he was there. He also gave us lots of advice on timings before the day and also on the morning of the wedding with regard to what order to get ready and when to be ready for whereas our venue were pretty useless at that sort of thing. Martin knew we were going on honeymoon for 3 weeks the week after our wedding so he made the effort to have all our photos edited and back to us digitally before we went. Since our wedding I have recommended Martin to 3 friends who are currently planning weddings as we have so much faith and confidence in him and were so pleased with our choice of photography from both a personal and professional point of view.

Oh my word! Thank you so much for the most amazing photos. I cannot stop looking at them. You must be a wizard or something, because everything looks truly Amazing! Some photos have made me cry, and some have made me laugh out loud. Absolutely wonderful. We cannot thank you enough. Rest assured you will come exceptionally highly recommended to anyone I know. We cannot thank Martin enough! We were nervous trying to find a wedding photographer, especially during Covid, but we couldn’t have been happier with Martin. He made us and all our guests feel comfortable and made it all seem effortless even with all the extra restrictions in place. Martin covered both photography & vdeography for our wedding on 4th May 2019. Neither my husband nor I are comfortable being in front of the camera and it’s impossible to get a photo of my husband without a silly look on his face...or so i thought. Martin can work miracles! He instantly put us both at ease and managed to capture so many beautiful natural, relaxed and fun photos of us and our guests. The videographer that worked alongside Martin was very polite and the video he created was just magical. We were so excited to receive our photos and video and at times they had both been so discreet that we had no idea what to expect or what had been captured. When our photos and video arrived we were both left speechless, they are works of art! They captured the day perfectly and have enabled us to relive each special moment. Our guests were so impressed that many have asked for their details so I’m sure we’ll see lots more of Martin James in the future.
