I got in touch with John whilst we were planning our wedding day and he helped out with various ideas, even coming up with suggestions for other parts of the day which were very helpful. He came and met us and thoroughly planned out the shoot beforehand, which was really helpful as the day itself was rainy and wet throughout. During the day, John got some fantastic photos that really captured the personalities of the guests, he was friendly and approachable by all, blending into the background and we forgot he was there for most of the day. I'd highly recommend John's services.

Great bloke, excellent photographer
I searched for ages for a photographer who would provide all photos on a DVD and was delighted to come across Bloke, who more than fitted the bill. Apart from being a thoroughly pleasant chap, he is an excellent photographer and captured so many beautiful formal shots, as well as the reportage style, which documented the day perfectly. He takes hundreds of shots and to be quite honest, I love them all!

Great photos, professional service.
I would not hesitate to recommend Bloke. The DVD with our photos was waiting for us when we returned from honeymoon and we were delighted. Not only was there a large selection of photos, capturing every aspect of the day, but we didn't have to wait ages for them as we’ve known many friends to do. We really appreciated meeting Bloke at the venue in advance, finding his thoughts and opinions very helpful. On the day he was friendly and discreet putting us at ease and allowing us to enjoy the day. He also took the trouble to adjust the height of the video camera that was set to record the ceremony. If he hadn’t of thought to do this, which was not part of his role, then we’d have had a very different, very unfortunate, video of us getting married headless! We’re looking forward to sharing the photos with all our family and friends and reliving our wonderful day.

Fantastic, Relax, Brilliant
BWAC was amazing. He was very relaxed and took so many shots that you didn't even know he was taking. We spent a long time looking for an informal photographer who would let us share all of our photos with all of our guests. BWAC was perfect for us. A brilliant photographer with some amazing shots, this is particularly hard when neither of us are photogenic at all! : )

lovely photos just what we wanted
I had wondered about whether to get a photographer or use photos of friends (some of whom are quite good) and relatives but I’m so pleased we did. Getting someone who knows what they are doing has the right kit and is experienced working with bad light and nervous bridal parties is a big bonus. I enjoy doing photography myself and I’m very critical of others work if I’m paying for it. So I had spent days trying to find a photographer whose style and photos I liked and who would let me have the photos, including RAW files, to do with what I wanted – this is harder than you’d think. After all, sharing photos with friends and relatives, playing with them, and making up your albums is the fun part. BWAC was great he put me and my husband, who hates being photo'd, at ease at the pre-meet venue rekey and spent time with us working out where to get the shots at the venue and understanding what we wanted. This made the actual ‘big day’ less stressful. BWAC was a clam and professional on the day and an added bonus understood a lot more than us about the mechanics of how weddings worked than we did. The results are great and he really captured the day both the group shots and those informal moments.
