About Embrace
Embrace is a refreshing concept in Bridal Boutiques; an experience designed for a bride-to-be with curves, where no woman should be embarrassed about the size label in her dress, the measurements on the tape or what the weighing scales read. It is about embracing the woman within, a real woman who is marrying her partner who loves and adores her just the way she is.
From personal experience, I understand the frustration and difficulties encountered by the plus size bride. Four years ago my fiancé asked me to marry him. Just like any other bride I was over the moon and eagerly began planning my wedding. Unlike a lot of brides I was 41, getting married for the 2nd time and was a size 16. So began the hunt for "the" dress. My experiences of wedding boutiques varied from the wonderful, through embarrassing to downright horrific, with one shop telling me they "didn’t have anything to fit" before I had even sat down.
And so now it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Embrace Bridal Boutique, the area's ONLY specialist for the 16+ bride. Ranges from Mori Lee, MGNY, Mon Cheri, Callista and Sonsie by Veromia in sample sizes 16 to 28, are held in store, although certain gowns are available in size 8 and above. All our gowns are constructed with the curvier woman in mind, giving excellent support and control where needed.
Also in store are a beautiful range of bridesmaids dresses by Mori Lee, Mon Cheri and Amanda Wyatt, in a stunning range of fabrics, colours, styles and lengths.
Complimented by fabulous range of headwear, tiaras and veils by Amanda Wyatt, stunning jewellery by Ivory and Co and Twilight Designs and amazing footwear by Paradox London.
