I decided to book a trial appointment with Julia in order to make sure my hair and makeup were just right for my big day. I booked despite having looked at other companies, because of the user-friendly website and very stylish hair & make-up photo's and I was not disappointed. Julia spent nearly 3 hours with me at my parents house making sure we knew what suited me best and I never felt rushed. I also felt that she really cared and I wasn't just another booking, so I was happy to sign you up for my big day there and then. On the morning of my wedding Julia arrived on time, and set about applying makeup to my bridesmaid who had not had a trial but I now had confidence in her style. She helped me to remain calm and enjoy the morning, you also went above the call of duty by helping me to get into my wedding dress with the hundreds of buttons it had!! My make-up stayed on all day and never had to be reapplied. I have never been so happy with my foundation before, I felt like a bride whilst the look remained natural, perfect, and it shows up lovely on the photos. She also did a fantastic job with my hair as I appreciate there is not so many options with short hair, but yet you again managed to make me feel like a bride with the she pinned it back with my tiara. Airbase airbrush make-up review...

HiJulia! I really cannot thank you enough for all that you did on our wedding day. My beautiful hair and make-up made me feel just like a princess... I was honestly on cloud 9! My make-up was utterly flawless and stayed that way for the whole day... I really could not have wished for anything better! You made my bridesmaids and I feel so at at ease on the morning of the wedding and we all felt so confident after our hair and make-up had been done that we could just relax and enjoy the day! I can't recommend Julia enough - I was so nervous about my hair and makeup and she was just brilliant. I don't wear make-up often and my hair is quite unruley! I obviously wanted to look my best but wanted a natural and not 'too bridey' a look. Julia did exactly what I wanted for my hair trial and it looked lovely....but then I completely changed my mind for the day. My skin type is also very dry and my make-up trial was essential to work out what products would work best. Julia listened so carefully to my concerns and coped brilliantly with my indecisiveness, always happy to talk and advise me, and even offered me a further hair trial on Boxing Day as I was still so uncertain about my hair!! In the end I asked Julia to do my hair as SHE thought would be best - and I was so pleased with the result and my make-up was perfect. There were 6 of us to get ready in the morning and Julia worked the timings perfectly and recruited an extra hairdresser (the brilliant Penny) at no extra cost. As I said...100% recommended.
