Above and beyond the call of duty
Jo was an absolute superstar on the day of my wedding. She wasn't just a make-up artist, she was a fantastically calming presence as the nerves started and she even took over with helping me get in to my dress as my mum had to leave early (and my dad didn't have a clue!). I would definitely recommend Jo if you don't have lots of make-up knowledge and are generally and aren't used to wearing much make-up then she is defintely the lady for you.

Couldn't recommend more highly!!
Jo was absolutely fantastic and I have been recommending her ever since! Make up is so important on your wedding day, everyone wants to look beautiful - and Jo makes you do just that. Her make up style is one that works around your natural beauty so that you don't look unlike you. Her prices are affordable, she's good at what she does (it's her profession) and she's friendly to be around. Don't hesitate to drop Jo an email, you won't regret it.

Beauty & Distinction
Jo is a make-up artist that impersonates and lives what she believes in: beauty and a distinct style.. I am not normally a photogenic person and was rather nervous about what I could do on my wedding day about this as photos would become inevitable. I have always thought that it would take a standard make-up look with long lashes, dark smoky eyes and big puffy hair to achieve a bridal look. But Jo took a good look at my face and put together a unique fit that would transform me without showing any real traces of make-up. It was seemingly invisible, but my eyes were distinctly bigger, my skin looked like procelain and my whole appearance looked fresh. It was as if I had woken up that morning and suddenly looked fresh and beautiful... I have got to thank Jo for her dedication in getting my make-up just right on my actual wedding day and making me feel therefore comfortable with the photo sessions. The photos have turned out great ! I will also use every possible occasion in future to get in touch with Jo to have my make-up done by her again.

Great Make Up Artist
I couldn't of asked for a nicer and more professional make up artist like Jo. I got married on 7th May 2011 and Jo didn't just offer her professional touch but the more personal side and great day to day tips. I would like to thank you Jo for your work not just on my wedding day for me and my bridesmaid but for all the prep leading up to the wedding. You did a fab job and I would recommend your service to anyone.

Talented and kind, highly professional and able to listen
Jo came to my home, to run through my 'look' for the wedding, helped my find a hairdresser, listened to everything I had to say about make-up styles and what I felt would suit me and calmly tried things out. She came with masses of make-up, some that cannot be purchased in the UK and she really made me stop feeling so nervous about the day itself. Jo has a very kind and sensitive attitude and her presence when you're feeling pressured is not just professional by very special. Jo sent SMS messages to let me know she was on her way, e-mailed me with tips and make-up details I requested before the wedding and did a really great job of creating a look that wasn't drastic, was still me, fresh yet but wasn't an everyday look and defined my eyes. I'm hoping to book some lessons in future, I felt natural and fresh but also 'me' and glamorous on the day, I didn't add to her make-up or even check my face in the mirror and even by the end of the evening my face was subtle but stayed. Even if you are sure you can do your face, it's therapeutic to have her come come and take the worry away, so that you can enjoy the day more, her patience, ability to listen and talent really impressed me. She's a large reason as to why, when I walked down the aisle I felt confident and calm (ish!) and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
