On your big day, you want to feel taken care of and I assure you that you will be with Amanda!
I was referred to Amanda from a friend who used her for her wedding in 2011. When my turn came up, I was eager to work with Amanda. Our communication was always quick, clear, and friendly. We set my trial appointment for three months before the wedding and she came to my home. After finishing my hair and makeup she took multiple photos and notes, being sure to remember exactly what was used so it could be replicated for the wedding. Three days before the wedding she, on a last minute whim (of mine), made herself available to do my makeup for some bridal pictures as there wasn't time to do them on the wedding day. The fee was very fair given the notice, I felt! The wedding day went so smoothly thanks to her. She and her colleague arrived right on time (slightly early!) and worked according to the schedule we had arranged for the other ladies having hair done. Everyone was very pleased with the results and mine were exactly as they had been in September! Let me clarify about my rating for 'value for money'. I had never had my hair/makeup done in the UK before, so was going off of what I had known from the States. In my general experience of 'exchange rates' London tends to seem more expensive. I was expecting the fee to be so as well! However, I was pleasantly surprised that Amanda's prices were much better than I anticipated and incredibly fair, given the quality of her work and service, which are both exceptional. I cannot recommend her enough! On your big day, you want to feel taken care of and I assure you that you will be. I will definitely use her services again for any future special events.

'I chose Amanda because after her extremely comprehensive trial, I knew that she would be the correct person to do this job for me. I didn't really know what I was after for my wedding day but after analysing my hair texture / current style, she made several lovely suggestions and she worked with me to find the perfect style. On the day, she was punctual, p rofessional and most importantly, with all the chaos of the wedding day, Amanda remained calm and calmed me down as well!! The hair and make up she did was absolutely exquisite and lasted perfectly for the entire day (it was so good that I had trouble freeing my hair in the night!). Overall, she provided perfect service and contributed massively to making my day perfect. Amanda was brilliant. I read online reviews written by past brides, all of which were very complimentary. Photos of hair and makeup on brides and bridesmaids in her gallery were just what I was looking for. I was worried that the weather might be bad in January and that I could be let down but all her reviews said that Amanda was very reliable and would turn u p in all weathers (including snow). On the day Amanda was calm and encouraging and she didnt get in the way at all. It was the most relaxing part of my wedding day. My hair and makeup looked amazing. I'm surprised at how well Amanda was able to know what I wanted and what would suit my dress when I had trouble communicating it myself. People still comment now and tell me how beautiful my hair and makeup were, they completed the dress. My nightmare straight hair held all day and night. Amanda also gave me the details of the makeup she had used on me so I've been able to buy some of the same products for myself. Thank you Amanda, I'm glad I found the money for hair and makeup and I'm glad I found you. I would definiately recommend you to my friends.'

Amazing hair and male-up artist
Amanda did my hair and make-up for my wedding in June 2012, as well as my mum and sister's make-up. I found her through her website which has a very good photo gallery, as does her facebook page. She did an absolutely incredible job. We all felt fantastic and so many people commented on how lovely and natural our hair and make-up looked. It also lasted all night, including through some energetic dancing! Amanda listened to everything we asked for and made us look like better, more beautiful versions of our normal selves, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. From the moment I called her everything was so easy and straightforward, her charges were extremely reasonable and she was a calm and reassuring presence on the day of the wedding. I wish every bride could have an Amanda and my mum, sister and I would not hesitate to recommend her.
