Hi Lisa, Hope you're good. Mike and I just got back from honeymoon today and I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for doing my make-up so beautifully for our rehearsal dinner and wedding - so many people commented on it and, despite my nerves on the day, I felt like a (spot-free!) princess by the time I walked down the aisle and I owe so much of that to you! Thank you so much for all your kindness and patience too - I know I was a total pain to work on as I'm such a creature of habit with make-up and was sooo nervous by the morning of the wedding but I really loved working with you - you made my skin look flawless (which was quite a challenge given my stress spots!) and my eye make-up on both days was gorgeous but more than that you were really lovely to work with - all of the bridesmaids really loved working with you and you made it such a fun atmosphere to get ready together the Saturday morning. I thought I would firstly fulfill my promise to send you photos of the day showing your fabulous make up and secondly take the opportunity to say a very big thank you for doing such a fabulous job. You managed to make me look like myself but better, which is absolutely what I was hoping for and it's no doubt thanks to you that I love my photographs so much. It was also a pleasure to have you around on the morning of the wedding, which I think is so important when you consider what a personal time it is for brides and their families.

Jan and Lisa did an amazing job and I really could not have asked for more. In planning my Hertfordshire wedding last May from New York, there were certain things I just did not have the time to organize, and one at the bottom of the list was my hair and make up, which I didn't book until four days before the wedding! But all the planning in the world would not have brought me a more professional team. Jan was really understanding about the short notice, they arrived on time and brought calmness to the madness of the bridal party getting ready. Having only a week in the UK before the wedding to tie up loose ends, I didn't have time for a trial either which horrified all my girlfirends! But there was no need to worry, I threw a few buzz words at Jan and Lisa - romantic rose, big eyes (but not evening make up), coverage but not heavy make up, shimmer, luminous, pretty tones and romantic curls for my hair, and it was just perfect. I have had professional make up and hair done before events, and this was the best by far. I couldn't believe it when I looked in the mirror. Thanks again, Rachelle xx
