Stephanie arrived at her wedding ceremony in a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, and the guests were transported in a classic red bus.
The wedding ceremony and reception all took place in one place – Meols Hall Tithebarn in Southport.
Stephanie walked down the aisle at the barn with her dad as a string duo played Wagner’s ‘Bridal March’. She was so nervous she caught herself staring at the floor, until she made herself look up. She saw the back of Dennis’s head and focused on getting to him.
During the ceremony, Stephanie’s friend Laura read out an extract from ‘Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’. The couple chose the reading as they thought it fitted perfectly with their relationship as they’ve been together for so long.
The bride and groom exchanged wedding rings they bought from Etsy. Stephanie chose an art deco style white gold ring with diamonds and Dennis had a titanium ring with a wooden inlay, as they both wanted something a little different.
The ceremony passed by in a blur for Stephanie, so she was glad they recorded it so she could watch it back on video.
