Sophie and Carl wanted to waste no time in getting the wedding planning going and stated looking at venues and dates within the month of their engagement.
Sophie chose an ivory fit and flare wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and beautiful glistening stone embellishment to give it a bit of sparkle.
Her final choice was an Essence of Australia gown purchased from Bride 2 Be in Reading.
After trying on a total of seven wedding dresses, Sophie knew this beautiful gown was the one as it ticked so many boxes for her and she decided to wear it with a fingertip veil and wedding shoes from Rainbow Club which she had dyed royal blue as her ‘something blue’.
Sophie had three bridesmaids, her two older sisters and her niece whose dresses were the Vera Wang range bought from David’s Bridal.
They were a soft blue colour with a one-shoulder strapline and a fitted long-line bodice which released into a mermaid skirt.
The bridesmaids and bride chose the dresses together as Sophie wanted her girls to feel comfortable in a style which suited them all and the experience was something they all loved.
She also had Carl’s three nieces as her flower girls. They wore the same dress as the bridesmaids but a varied style with a strapless sweetheart neckline.
