Rob and Sally-Ann first met at their ‘Snow Ball’ during their first year of University back in 1998. 11 years later Rob proposed, and Sally-Ann thought it was the most romantic proposal ever!
The couple were lying in bed one Sunday morning and Sally-Ann was doing the whole, “we're never gonna get married” line. To which point Rob came out with, “Will you marry me?” Sally-Ann’s response was “Well you know I will but I don't know why you're saying that as you don't mean it as I know you don't want to get married.” Sally-Ann thought that Rob was changing the subject as he proceeded to get his laptop out of the drawer. But Rob wanted to show his new ‘fiancée’ some sketches that he had been sent by a jewellery designer. He had secretly been commissioning a ring designer so that he could propose on their 11th anniversary of meeting. So romantic!
