The wedding reception took place at The George – the beautiful venue which was responsible for the whole wedding taking place!
The newlyweds and their guests walked from the ceremony venue to the reception, accompanied by a town crier. It was quite an impressive sight for the sleepy town of Rye.
Robyn and Martin decorated their wedding with lots of colour – they wanted it to be vibrant and individual, but with a relaxed feel so it would represent them accurately. The tables were dressed with neon candelabras and neon pom-poms, and Robyn made place cards and table numbers to match the colours.
Neon candles, tea lights and fairy lights gave a glow to the room. Kilner jars were filled with Haribo and Love Hearts and guests could help themselves to them as a thank you for attending the wedding.
Martin, Robyn and their guests all enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast at The George which included a starter of grilled halloumi with tomato salsa, rump of salt marsh lamb with potatoes and veg and a lemon posset dessert.
