James and Renee cut into a beautiful, five tiered wedding cake covered in elegant ivory icing. The cake had subtle lace patterns and was decorated with ribbons and vintage brooches. It included unusual flavours such as vanilla and toffee, and chocolate and Guinness.
A sweet table accompanied the cake, and in the evening there was a free bar, as James and Renee covered the corkage costs.
To start the evening party, they arranged for the band to play a slow acoustic version of Depeche Mode’s ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’. Halfway through the song changed tempo and the guests were invited on to the dancefloor to join the bride and groom.
