Richard and Rebecca met in York whilst both on a night out during their University years. Rebecca went to University in York and Richards University was in Sheffield, but the distance didn’t keep this young couple apart.
After 3 and a half years, which flew by for them both, Richard and Rebecca decided to take their relationship to the next level. During a romantic holiday to Kos, one of the Greek Islands, in May 2010, Richard picked his moment and proposed on a sandy beach at sunset. After accepting his proposal and slipping a gorgeous family heirloom on to her finger, Rebecca and her new fiancé celebrated their engagement with several Pina Coladas back at their five start hotel.
The couple spent a year and half planning their perfect wedding weekend and couldn’t have done it with out the love and support of both their families.
