A Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue – and a silver sixpence in her shoe. Everyone has heard of the expression, but Nicola took it seriously whilst preparing for her big day.

Nicola wore her grandmother's tartan garter, which was extremely appropriate for her wedding up in Scotland. She also had a vintage lucky silver sixpence in her shoes for good luck – and to keep as a memento from the big day.
