Meghan’s wedding bouquet was inspired by the wild flowers that grow in the area and were coloured yellow, pink and white. The bouquet was held together by a crisp white bow which ties in perfectly with the bright scenery.
The couple chose a wedding menu just as tempting as their flowers. They served butlered hors d’oeuvres of lamb lollipops, aranchini, rice paper rolls and fish croquettes.
The dinner menu consisted of a buffet including pulled pork buns, beef brisket and maple glazed salmon with quinoa salad, potato salad, kale slaw and beet and pear salad – a seriously appetising selection!
Dessert options on the buffet were chocolate hazelnut torte, pavlova and fresh fruit – both Meghan and Alex aren’t fans of wedding cakes so they asked their caterer to make their all-time favourite – hazelnut torte.
As well as this incredible food menu, the couple also provided a grazing table filled with cheese and dips for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. There was also a selection of late night snacks, a variety of flatbreads and flavoured popcorns.
Guests could also make s’mores on the bonfire and received a welcome back filled with treats so no one would go hungry.
