Meg and Lee’s wedding was a real DIY affair. Meg made and organised everything herself – she didn’t have a wedding coordinator but on the day of her wedding she had a wonderful supportive team of friends and family who helped to bring their wedding vision to life.
They wanted their wedding to have a romantic, rustic feel so they used vintage furniture in the lounge area, mismatched chairs, and wooden pews and tables to give a relaxed feel. Chalkboards decorated by Meg were displayed around the reception too.
All the tables were arranged in U-shape as they wanted everyone to be together. The tables were decorated with roses and baby’s breath was used to decorate the ceremony. Each guest received a vintage handkerchief ahead of the ceremony, a personalised water bottle and custom temporary tattoos which the guests applied to each other during the cocktail hour.
