Lee and Meg became husband and wife in an outdoor wedding ceremony at Loudwater Farm. They wrote the ceremony themselves and it was delivered by a close friend of the couple’s.
Meg and Lee chose to write their own ceremony and vows so it was personal to them – it was a very thoughtful and emotional service. Two friends gave readings during the service, one read ‘Love’ by Roy Croft and an extract from ‘If Love Were A Book’.
The bride walked down the aisle to ‘The Cello Song’ by the Piano Guys with her older brother Danny, who had flown in from Australia for the occasion. The couple exchanged rings bought from H. Samuel, and had them engraved with the coordinates of their first date.
Meg remembers there were some tears during the ceremony, but laughter too. A lot of guests commented on how moved they felt, which was great to hear as the couple wanted it to be true to them and personal.
