Louise didn’t want a big traditional dress, so after several unsuccessful shopping trips she changed tactic and decided to look at bridesmaid gowns in bridal colours. She eventually found a gorgeous champagne coloured column dress from Amica Bridal Boutique, which she paired with a lacy bolero in cream.
Her friend helped to complete the look by stitching handmade flowers onto the ivory waistband and crafted an exquisite matching headpiece with georgette flowers and vintage marcasite brooches. Louise paired this with a matching vintage style necklace and earrings. These finishing touches added a personal stamp to the dress and made it feel really unique.
Louise’s friend Allison styled her hair into a flattering half up style which suited her down to the ground, as she felt like a complete up do would be too formal and not ‘her’. Adele from Wedding Hair Plymouth gave Louise a subtle smoky eye and a pale pink lip for her bridal make up, which was exactly what Louise had wanted!
