Louise and Michael added lots of personal touches to their wedding day to make it special. For the favours, Louise collected lots of baby food jars and filled them with love heart sweets. She finished them off with a fabric top, twine and little wooden hearts with ‘eat me’ written on them. ‘They were worth the effort,’ says Louise, ‘although I might not have a packet of love hearts for a while!’
The flower girls all wore paper flowers in their hair that Louise had ordered specially from Thailand. She let the girls wear them how they wanted as she wanted everything to feel relaxed and informal. The gift table featured pictures of Louise and Michael as babies and old pictures of their parents on their wedding days which gained a lot of attention and nice comments.
After the ceremony it was on to the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club where the DJ kept the guests dancing all evening! If guests still had room after the afternoon tea there were vintage teacups and bowls scattered about filled with bon-bons to satisfy their sweet tooth.
