Andrew and Louise sparked up a conversation when they sat on the same table at a mutual friend’s wedding. They were together for nine years when Andrew went to visit Louise’s father on the afternoon of his birthday to ask for his permission to pop the question.
The couple went for a walk alongside the river in Chiswick before Andrew’s birthday drinks that evening, and he asked her to marry him! They had two exciting things to celebrate that night.
They bride and groom-to-be chose the engagement ring together – he picked the jewellers, she picked the ring. It turned out the owner was a friend of a friend, and was a fantastic guide to the process.
An engagement of just six months followed before they were pronounced husband and wife in a gorgeous spring wedding.
