Gary’s twin boys attended the nursery school where Lisa worked and the moment the pair set eyes on each other back in 2007 they knew something special was in the air. A year later Gary and Lisa became friends on Facebook and on the 29th of July, 2009 they went on their first date.
After just 10 months of dating Gary knocked on the door of Lisa’s classroom, suited and booted, with a huge bouquet of flowers and a gorgeous princess cut diamond ring that the couple had chosen together at an earlier date. Lisa’s workmates had all been in on the surprise proposal and everyone celebrated the wonderful news together afterwards.
