Steve had booked to take Lindsay for lunch at Claridges in London for her birthday, but much to her surprise Steve had arranged to have a drink at the Absolut Ice Bar off Regents Street before hand. Whilst they were waiting to go into the ‘Ice’ section of the Ice Bar, Steve said that it would make his day if Lindsay were to become his wife. With that he reached into his pocket and pulled out an engagement ring. What a wonderful birthday surprise! In shock but utter delight Lindsay said ‘Yes’ to Steve’s proposal and they both enjoyed a quick drink in the Ice Bar before rushing out to ring all of their friends. As it turned out everyone knew about the proposal before hand as right after their wonderful lunch they stopped off to meet Steve’s parents for a drink, which turned out to be a surprise birthday/engagement party!
