Billy and Leigh had known each other for about 18 years, and met through Billy’s sister Jodie when they were only 10. They got together in early 2005 and on the 13th of September 2008 Billy proposed while they were on holiday in Sorrento, Italy.
The proposal was pretty spontaneous as Billy had only bought the ring that morning! They went out for an evening meal to a small restaurant overlooking the town square. Billy had managed to book one of the two tables available on the balcony which was a great, and romantic spot. After dessert Billy got down on one knee and asked Leigh to marry him. After a few minutes of shock Leigh finally said ‘YES’!
