Once everyone was ready to go, a blue Royale Windsor from Abbey Rolls Hire picked Laura’s mum and bridesmaids up to take them to the venue. Then it came back to pick up the bride and her dad – who liked that the car gave a traditional feel to the day.
Laura and Carl chose to tie the knot in a civil service at their venue, Denbies Wine Estate, as they felt that this was more suited to them.
After an initial mix up with the music, Laura eventually walked down the aisle with her dad to Ella Henderson’s ‘Yours’.
Even though she and her bridesmaids were puzzled over the music mix up, Laura felt that Ella Henderson’s track was still a beautiful song to walk down the aisle to.
After some heartfelt readings from Laura’s mum and her boss, it was then time for the couple to sign the register.
There was a funny moment where, during this part, Laura initially went to sit down in the wrong chair and it almost looked like she was heading for the nearest exit!
The couple then got to swap their elegant wedding bands which were both from Goldsmiths. Finally they could say they were husband and wife!
