Laura knew she wanted to wear a tea length dress on her wedding day. She also loved the designs from bridalwear designers House of Mooshki, so she went on a search to find boutiques that stocked the label.
Laura searched far and wide to find her perfect dress and she eventually found ‘the one’ in the Cutting Edge Brides boutique in Bexley, London. The two and a half hour train journey was so worth it!
After trying on seven or eight dresses overall, Laura settled on a beautiful tea length House of Mooshki dress that had lace sleeves and a pretty illusion back – she looked amazing in it!
Laura chose not to have a veil so that the back of her dress was shown off to perfection. Instead, she teamed it with some sparkling diamond earrings and a bracelet which was bought for her by Carl.
Carl’s mother bought Laura some stunning Jenny Packham shoes for the ceremony. The beautiful bride also had a blue belt and shoes on standby for the evening party, so that she could easily transform her look.
Make up artist Carrie Jessup gave Laura a natural make up look for her wedding day, apart from the eyes which were given a bold, defined look.
As Laura normally wears pared down make up on a day to day basis, she wanted something a bit different for her big day.
Laura’s pretty updo was styled by hairdresser Lynda Glanfield. Again, she chose this kind of style as it was something different but also because it allowed the back of her dress to shine through.
