Dan and Lan set eyes on each other at work several years ago. Lan had always thought that Dan was a lovely guy but didn’t think they could ever get together because a couple called “Dan and Lan” sounded like a joke. However, once Lan got over the embarrassment of it all, she actually thought it couldn’t be more perfect than to have rhyming names.
Dan and Lan were together three years before Dan proposed in spectacular fashion. Dan popped the questions exactly three years to the day from their first date, down on one knee at the Ponte Del Paradiso Bridge in Venice. The couple chose Lan’s official engagement ring together, although seeing as Dan had already bought a proposal ring, Lan now has the pleasure of owning and wearing two engagement rings! The couple were engaged for a year before getting married at Charlton House in Greenwich, London.
