Kirsty and Liam met at a family party in Lincolnshire back in 2008 and had a blissful three year relationship before Liam decided to pop the question. The couple had discussed marriage on and off during their relationship and had even looked at engagement rings whilst out shopping on several occasions.
Without Kirsty knowing, Liam popped back to one of the jewelers and bought Kirsty’s dream engagement ring, with the intention of asking her to become his wife in the near future. Liam saved his proposal for a family meal and completely surprised his future wife with his life-changing question.
The couple decided to get married in 2013, but ended up bringing their wedding forward as they wanted to ensure that Kirsty’s grandmother was able to attend. Sadly she passed away just 8 weeks before the wedding but she certainly was there in spirit!
