Jody and John were real life high school sweet hearts. While on a romantic getaway in New York, the couple went ice-skating in Central Park then took a ride on one of the cities horse drawn carriages through the meandering pathways of the colourful gardens. As they strolled through the park on their way back to their hotel, John surprised Jody by getting down on one knee and proposing to her as he placed a Haribo ring on her finger! Jody was delighted; however, the confectionery ring was replaced by a beautiful Tiffany ring that the couple chose the next day.
One year later, the couple married in the gorgeous Great Hall at Mains in Lancashire.
