Joanne had a totally unique wedding dress for her wedding. She came up with the design and the dress maker, Clare Gilbert, helped her to pick the materials. Joanne knew she wanted lace and silk, and these were used to create a luxurious but simple effect.
Before Joanne decided to enlist the services of a dressmaker, she tried on around 40 wedding dresses at different shops all over the UK. None of them hit the mark as Joanne had such a specific idea in her head.
She paired her long sleeved wedding dress with a traditional veil and a bespoke headpiece made by Brides by Victoria, which was a halo design.
