Jo and Grant became smitten with one another after working together. Six years into their relationship Grant got down on one knee and popped the question to Jo whilst on holiday in Salcombe, Devon. The happy pair chose a gorgeous engagement ring together before emailing out save the date cards to a guest list which they created together.
Having both been married previously, Jo and Grant were keen to have a thoroughly enjoyable, intimate and relaxed wedding with their closest family and friends. Accommodating Jo’s wish for an outdoor civil ceremony, the couple fell in love with Friar’s Court as a ceremony venue. At 11am Jo walked down the aisle on the arm of her son, taking her vows with Grant under a rose arbour in the beautiful gardens of Friar’s Court.
Jo’s sister in law read a beautiful poem during the ceremony, with Jo’s brother saying a few emotional words regarding their father; a loved one recently lost to Alzheimer’s.
