Andy and Jessica had a whirlwind romance after having met online. They both knew instantly that they had met the right person (after both having had experienced several years of bad dating). Andy proposed in October 2011, just six months after they had met.
When it came to choosing the engagement ring, Jessica had hinted to Andy as to what style she liked, which happened to be anything with a blue diamond. Ultimately Andy made the final decision on the ring he chose to propose with, and Jessica was delighted with what he had picked. Andy popped the question in a pub garden; the same pub where the couple had shared their first date.
The couple set a date for August 2012 and spent the next 10 months planning their intimate wedding celebration.
