Helen and Peter had a 2pm civil wedding ceremony at Wrenbury Hall in Cheshire. Helen was already at the venue getting ready with her family and bridesmaids, but Peter rolled up in a Jaguar belonging to Helen’s father which happened to be the exact same navy blue colour scheme that dictated the rest of the wedding.
The bride was walked down the aisle by her father to the John Lennon version of Stand By Me. Both of the bridesmaids gave readings; Kate read a passage from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, and Katherine read ‘I Wanna Grow Old with You’ from the film The Wedding Singer.
The couple exchanged wedding rings that they’d purchased at Newey’s Jewller in Birmingham and then walked out of their wedding ceremony to Bruno Mars ‘Marry You’.
