Heather met Arwel at a Christmas Party at Llangefni Rugby Club back in 2003; not where she would have expected to meet her future husband. Heather was instantly smitten by Arwels charm and cheeky grin and within 24 hours the couple became an item.
3 and a half years later the time had come for Arwel to get his act together and buy a beautiful engagement ring, as a surprise for Heather whilst they were on holiday in Thailand. The couple had gone down to the seafront restaurant of the hotel they were staying in, and between courses Arwel made an excuse to pop up to their bedroom. In actual fact he was calling a friend to say that he felt ready to propose, and picked up a ring box from the room to bring back down to the table. Arwel tossed the box into Heathers hands and a bottle of Champagne was produced by one of the waiters. An exciting engagement for a couple that were ‘meant to be’.
