Jonathan and Gemma met when Gemma was 16 and Jonathan was 20, as her sister was going out with one of his friends. They had a long distance relationship for a year, before Gemma left Liverpool to move to Leeds to be with Jonathan. A move she will never regret!
Jonathan popped the question to Gemma at a friends house warming party, two years after they met. He proposed with a beautiful ring he’d chosen himself along with a bottle of champagne which Gemma had originally thought was going to be a gift for their friend’s housewarming party, not a toast to their engagement! Gemma gleefully accepted Jonathan’s proposal, and after a nine year engagement, the happy couple tied the knot in a sparkling silver, white and ivory themed wedding with 100 guests at the Village Hotel, Tingley.
