Fiona and Andrew met through working at Sainsbury’s together back in 2003. They became official after their first date at the cinema to see ‘Finding Nemo’ but didn’t get engaged for another 5 and a half years.
The couple were on a romantic break in Derbyshire to celebrate Fiona’s 22nd birthday in 2009. They visited several wonderful places, including the Heights of Abraham Hilltop Country Park where Andrew gave Fiona a birthday card enclosing “22 Things I Love About You”. Andrew asked Fiona to read out the words and then at the end got down on one knee and proposed!
The newly engaged couple choose a beautiful ring for Fiona together whilst on the same mini-break and planned their wedding over 2 years and 2 months.
