Emma had always known what she wanted her wedding dress to look like – in fact, when she was 16 she’d sketched it out and hidden it away. But she had a sensible approach to dress shopping and went to lots of places to try on different gowns to see which styles she loved.
Nothing was really standing out to her, so she thought back to a documentary she’d watched a few years ago, where TV presenter Cherry Healey had commissioned a bespoke wedding dress. Emma looked up the designer, Sarah Pinkster, and went to meet her.
She described what she was thinking of, and Sarah’s initial sketch matched the dress Emma had drawn all those years before. Her custom wedding dress was made from duchesse satin with a French Leavers lace overlay.
The bride paired her unique wedding dress with Irregular Choice shoe boots. As she’s a bit of a rebel at heart she customised her shoes with diamante skull brooches! She wore her grandmother’s engagement ring and some silver jewellery Philip had bought for her.
