Emily and Dan met at work back in 2006 and after many a work night out they started officially dating.
Dan had planned to propose during a trip to New York to celebrate Emily’s 30th birthday, but he couldn’t wait any longer. One evening when Emily was ill and tucked up in bed with a cold, loving boyfriend Dan popped out to get some medicine and came home with an engagement ring!
Prior to Dan’s proposal the couple had been out to dinner with Emily’s parents. When Emily popped to the Ladies, Dan asked Emily’s father for permission to marry her.
This fun couple with true traditional values planned their wedding over 18 months and tried to involve as many members of their friends and family as possible.
