Danielle was completely in love with her wedding dress. She felt like a princess in it. She knew she didn’t want a strapless gown, or one with lace, but fancied something that would look timeless, feminine and have an old Hollywood feel.
She knew from the moment Glenn placed the diamond ring on her finger that she’d be going for a Jenny Packham dress, and she opted for the Odessa – which Kate Middleton owns in a custom-made green shade.
The delicate lace capped sleeves added to the vintage feel, and the intricate detailing made it glimmer and glitter as she moved in it. The dress hung perfectly off Danielle’s frame, as though it had been made just for her.
She paired it with a Jenny Packham headband, Rachel Simpson shoes, a vintage clutch bag and vintage jewellery that was bought for her by her mum and sister.
Danielle asked her sister Louise and her best friend Laura to be bridesmaids and they wore custom-altered Adrianna Pappell dresses which had a 1920s feel, bought from John Lewis.
