Childhood sweethearts Danielle and Andrew met while in 6th form. Despite attending the same secondary school, the couples social groups had always been different. During a night out at the local pub, Danielle and Andrew met through friends and have been smitten with one another ever since.
Six happy years together passed when one Saturday morning Andrew was handing Danielle her jewellery as she got ready. As he handed Danielle’s Edwardian gold ring to her, Andrew’s first ever Christmas present to his future fiancé, he took her left hand and placed the ring on Danielle’s ring finger while looking at her questioningly. Despite being a ‘silent proposal’, Danielle instantly knew the meaning of Andrew’s actions. Bursting into tears and flinging her arms around her new fiancé, Danielle said ‘yes’! The couple chose a diamond and pink sapphire ring together before announcing the happy news to elated family and friends.
