Claire and James love winter and thought that planning a winter themed wedding at the Ice Hotel in Sweden was perfect for them. They did all of their wedding planning here in the UK and didn’t even get to see their wedding venue until they arrived in Sweden. They invited 11 guests to watch the all important nuptials and sent out invitations filled with little balls of polystyrene to replicate snow. James runs his own marketing agency, beanwave.co.uk, and therefore the couple were creative and make their own wedding invitations.
Save the date cards were sent out in June to give the wedding guests plenty of notice for the wedding that officially took place on the 15th of January 2010. An after party followed on in the UK on the 23rd of January and then the newlywed couple headed off to Vancouver for 4 nights and snowboarding for 10 nights in Sunpeaks.
