Charlotte and Ryan had a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception in Durban, South Africa, not far from the grooms family home. In early November 2010, and in 38 degree weather, the couple tied the knot and then celebrated with 50 closest members of their friends and family.

Charlotte was 19 when she was introduced to Ryan through a friend. Sparks flew immediately and the couple knew that something special was in the air. Ryan had always talked about romantic ways of proposing, until the till the day Charlotte said “Ryan I don’t care how you do it I just want to be surprised!”
After an exhausting 11 hour day in December working with horses Ryan greeted Charlotte at the front door with a picnic basket and whisked her off to the beach. They laughed about how romantic they were and that they imagined doing the same thing in 60 years time. With that Ryan reached into his pocket, bent down on one knee and asked Charlotte if she would spend the rest of her life with him. With her heart beating fast Charlotte replied “YES!”
