Catherine went wedding dress shopping with her two sisters, and bridesmaids, Bernadette and Amelia. They visited Rosina Brown Bridal in Stocksfield and after having searched through all the rails, the owner chose just 1 dress for Catherine to try on. The dress was a Sophia Tolli Design (Heidi, Y2954) and had been voted ‘Dress of the Year’ for 2010. Catherine decided to shop around, but kept the Sophia Tolli dress in the back of her mind the whole time.
After the very sad loss of her father during the middle of her wedding planning, Catherine put dress shopping on hold for a while. Months later her mother offered Catherine the money for her dream dress and after trying it on the Sophia Tolli gown on for the third time it was confirmed that it truly was ‘the one’.
Bernadette and Amelia wore matching tangerine coloured dresses with a halter style neckline, designed by Forever Yours.
