Amy and Martin got together during their 6th form college years after mistaken identities! After falling in love and spending a wonderful 7 years together, Martin knew that Amy was the woman for him and was due to propose whilst the couple were on a skiing holiday in Finland. Due to being poorly and not feeling his best Martin decided that he would wait until the perfect moment. In the end, he proposed in a car park in Solihull after the couple chosen a beautiful engagement ring together.
To avoid the 2010 World Cup, Amy and Martin got married in June 2011. They would have been together 10 years in October so getting married in 2011 was sentimental to them.
