Amanda and Julian met through work and dated for 5 years before deciding to tie the knot. Julian is a keen wind surfer and the couple regularly visit a very un-spoilt location in Tenerife. It was here that Julian proposed, on the top of a small mountain overlooking the sea.
The couple had designed an engagement ring for Amanda together and it took around 15 months between the proposal and the big day to arrive.
At first, the newly engaged couple visited several wedding venues in the UK, but didn’t feel that anything was right. They remembered a town called Malcesine in Lake Garda which they’d been to previously on holiday and decided that it would be the perfect destination for them to host their wedding. The stunning walled, cobbled, medieval town on the edge of the lake sounded ideal!
