The majority of tourists are acquainted with the eight largest Hawaiian islands, including the island of Hawaii itself. This is the largest island, or main island, and has been given the affectionate nickname of ‘Big Island’ so as not to be confused with the name of the state. Probably most well known as a surf destination, the home of Pearl Harbour, luaus – an Hawaiian party - and its volcano laden landscape, Hawaii has more to offer. When you book your honeymoon in Hawaii you can participate in film festivals, an international hula dancing competition, and various other cultural events. Famous for their big smiles and friendly, welcoming nature, you will be warmly welcomed by the locals when you arrive for your honeymoon in Hawaii.
